Very Rare Early Stickley Brothers Sideboard in mint original condition.

Very rare Stickley Brothers early sideboard with reticulated hardware. The condition of the sideboard is impeccable. It must have remained in the same home for many years and likely in a formal dining room where it saw little use or direct sunlight. The digital images do not do justice to the reddish nut-brown original finish. A magnificent example of the quality and uniqueness of some of the early work from the Arts & Crafts Period. It would be difficult, if not impossible, to find original hand hammered copper hardware from the period that was more labor intensive to produce. This is the second of this form we have seen in over 30 years specializing in furniture from the Arts & Crafts Movement and we know of only one other, that one is published in a major collection.
