Rare Early Large L.& J.G. Stickley Onondaga Morris Chair

The same model chair as seen on our homepage, this rare L.& J.G. Stickley Onondaga period large morris chair model number 762, is signed and in beautifully highlighted original finish with very light color touch-up to the tops of the arms. This unique example of uncompromising early Arts and Crafts design is larger even than Gustav Stickley's largest chair the Eastwood. The significant dimensional aspects of the material is complemented by the arches in the surrounding seat stretchers, the arched supports under the arms and the double clipped-corners on the arms. Available in the ten year old hand-woven forest green leather cushions that came with the chair ( the green cushions were not available when we photographed the chair, the hand-woven burgandy brown cushions shown in the photo are also available ) or leather or fabric of choice for additional cost.
